SERVICES FOR ORGANISATIONS

Conflict Resolution including mediation of grievances

My first experience of mediation was as a part time volunteer back in 2001, broking peace between neighbours in conflict, so called 'neighbours from hell'. I secured my formal mediation qualification in 2002 and have had lots of conflict resolution experience since then.

With twin qualifications as a Transactional Analyst [CTA] psychotherapist and as a counsellor [MBACP], I am usually able to make empathic contact with the all the parties in disagreement despite their diverse perspectives. Feedback is that the parties experience me as impartial and feel that their point of view is at least understood – essential for successful conflict resolution.

Mentoring

As an established counsellor with many years' experience of managing organisations and with coaching skills credentials, I have been able to help many individuals from shop floor to boardroom, deal with personal and work issues.

What is mentoring?

The Concise Oxford Thesaurus definition of a Mentor includes –

A mentor's role is totally confidential and can include some or all of:-

'A good mentor is a trustworthy ally in life and career, a source of knowledge, reassurance, strength, and inspiration'.
